Foggy November in Provincetown 2009

A wonderful over night in Provincetown on a mild and foggy November weekend made for great shooting. There were few people around town, which also made it a special time.
I awoke early and took a long walk along Commercial Street up to Land's End and then over to McMillan Pier. These are some of the images from my early morning walk.

The Monument is one of the major symbols of Provincetown. It can be seen on a clear day miles away as you approach, as well as all around town. I hadn't seen it so fogged in, which I loved.

Another special place in Provincetown is Land's End--there is a long jetty that you can walk out on and reach the actual tip of the Cape. Here is the jetty and the lovely marshy area next to it.

I loved this quirky scene I came upon on the beach.

Here is the Ptown version of a special Christmas Tree that they light each year:

  1. Great atmospheric images. I totally love the last one. What a great card that would make!
